Gintama is just an overall good comedy, very unique, though it's humour has been copied many times since. Ive never watched the anime but the manga itself was top tier too, if a bit too incoherently random at times

Great series, no doubt. It has this quality mix of insane comedy with earnestness of tear jerking arcs. I've read some manga but I can't never get into reading shows I'm watching,
