In a nutshell the pipeline itself didn't bring gas prices up, but other factors surrounding it did. Any direct effect is purely the increased cost of logistics to transport the oil because instead of just going down a pipe it has to be transported by boat and trucks which is r-slurred.

I went to the birthday of a Latinx I'm dating and I was one of three people who spoke fluent English and literally the only person who didn't know Spanish. Whitest motherlover I've ever seen comes in, blue eyes, wide frame glasses and a fricking polo, with one of her Latinx friends and I get my hopes up just to have them immediately dashed when the dude turned out to be almost as bad at English as the girl I'm dating.
