As a member of the tribe with family that survived the nazis, I too sometimes feel nervous about the future and what it holds for my people. That's why I train with and carry a firearm, what the frick good does complaining on reddit do? The only person that can protect me is me and I wish that other jews would understand that better.
70% of Jews don't want civilian gun ownership, with those stats maybe we deserve whatever happens.

I 100% agree, I don't understand my family members that are antigun. Why did we even come to America if not for that right? Thankfully only about half my family thinks that way but it's just stunning to see the other half get flustered when I talk about carrying.

All of our rights were won because we were armed, our rights are defended from foreign threats with arms, our rights are protected from domestic threats with arms. The ballot box and the soap box exist solely because of the bullet box. I'd go so far as to say that gun ownership and competence should be legally mandated.
