It's been a weird shift for sure. When I was involved in my hometown music scene I used to get lectured by hippy naturopath freaks about how "cancer can't survive in an alkaline environment" and all the typical r-slur shit, and 10 years later I get to hear about atomizing borax and hydrogen peroxide into my lungs to remove the toxins from my blood from my company's hardcore Christian conservative receptionist.
