Used to be more Mexican before Katrina. Only neighborhood that benefitted from the refugees. It is too nice and too close to downtown to stay hood

Just north is where the blacks stay in independence heights and arches homes

Blacks in Houston actually aren't that bad in a lot of areas. People in Houston are generally pretty friendly even though it can get rough in some spots and the grocery stores by the Hobby are more high security with the cashier behind more bulletproof glass than anything I've seen even in third world countries

I've called on businesses all over the city. Sunnyside and bissonnet Before it got a little cleaned up were the worst spots I've been in. At least the only spots that I didn't want to linger in during the day.

It's so spread out. Even the ghetto butt apartments in spring and gunspoint are a city block long. Easy to keep it moving and avoid trouble

Had hookers knocking on my window on bissonnet. Fat nasty ones.
