You know how in The Wire the cops stacked charges to meet official conviction targets?

In Bongland this is done by prosecuting people for social media posts. Easy evidence makes for quick convictions, even though it's a complete waste of everyone's time and resources. That's how our useless police solve practically no thefts but somehow look good on paper

Did you see the report today saying shoplifters in Enriched areas no longer even bother to hide it or be quick. They do what used to be called "kamikaze" attacks because it used to be untenable to just go into a shop and openly empty entire shelves into bags in front of staff while threatening to murder them as the norm now because they know the police don't care and even if they get caught the judges won't punish them. Blair, Cameron and Boris should hang for what they did.
