Most of the comments are typical reddit (WHAT ABOUT INTERSEX PEOPLE HUH? HUH? HUH?) but there's one thread of sanity that surprisingly has upkongs.

One person even dares to say the thing you're not supposed to nootice out loud:

Note the number of trans healthcare professionals in the comments here. I believe they are likely overrepresented in this thread in comparison to real life.

:#marseyhesright:

Go through the thread and you'll see loads of comments starting with "trans ___________ here" :hehecat:

lmao

I mean…..wouldn't the trans health care workers be one of the best sources for information and opinions on this EO? It's literally their lived experience, in every sense of the word.

>I mean... wouldn't the people with a clear bias in this debate be one of the best sources for information and opinions on it?

Yeah it's telling that these people's IRL colleagues are largely in agreement with the EO. Medical professionals (excluding r-slurred low level nurses) tend to be conservative (in the medical sense) and pragmatic. If they believed allowing kids to train out would be beneficial to wellbeing they'd oppose this measure.

Wouldn't male feminist libertarians be one of the best sources for information and opinions on raising kids? Touching kids is literally their lived experience, in every sense of the word.

(This happened in real life btw, even the fricking New Yorker couldn't downplay it) https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2021/07/26/the-german-experiment-that-placed-foster-children-with-libertarians
