This is only tangentially related but I fricking hate the apple visualization theory because anyone who's ever tried to draw from memory knows that mental images aren't even close to accurate and that you aren't actually creating a physical image. How well someone thinks they can visualize 3D objects depends more on self confidence than anything.
Ask people to play checkers in their head or something where it's a matter of logic there aren't a practically infinite number of visual elements with colors and shading, but the visualization thing is such 2015 reddit midwit pseudo intellectual slop.
