!zoomers confuse me. Isn't the whole point of blocking people so you don't have to hear from them anymore? Why would you unblock someone you've previously blocked? It's not as though they said something that made you reconsider.

Yeah, and if you got kicked, you'd wait a minute for people to cool off and rejoin. Didn't even have to bother changing your nick most of the time. Besides that, there were a hundred times more joke mutes and kicks than actual mutes and kicks. At least in my experience.
And if these kids were blocking people as some kind of gag, I'd get it. But they're doing it because they're mad and refuse to take Tyler, the Creator's advice.

can't speak for all but as a crazy zoomer foid my answer for this (and i don't block often anymore bc blocking is dramaphobic) is typically bc i feel the need to temporarily slience my enemies; however i am nosy and if i share a server with them i eventually wanna see what they're saying and it gets old manually opening the messages (i am lazy).
now however, i only really have like 2 people blocked total because 1) as mentioned, blocking is dramaphobic, and 2) as i get older the less i care
