I'm quitting nicotine and it sucks. I found out that I got the ADD a year ago, which in the end comes down to an inability to produce enough dopamine naturally. Uppers like nicotine, caffeine, cocaine, and amphetamines help produce dopamine. I have learned that when you are withdrawing from these, you are not just withdrawing from the upper, you are also withdrawing from dopamine at the same time.
