You can get immediate permabans by reporting the list of DOGE staffers Redditors are sharing

!reportmaxxers

Report these comments for "sharing personal information". I am genuinely surprised that Reddit would ban for sharing names.

I think we have an opportunity here to cause significant drama across all of Reddit. They'll blame /u/spez for colluding with Musk and Trump. They'll call Reddit a right-wing website now.

doxxing isnt illegal r-slur,

If you read the whole sentence it includes the context 'death threats', as in 'death threats coupled with doxxing'. And the posting of public info coupled with the threats will absolutely be used against them in a court of law to show intent and actionability of the threats.

he quite literally claimed it was illegal to post their names, it fricking isnt.

No, he didn't Half of this screenshot is far more than 'post their names', and this is mild compared to what WPT was also posting.

If you follow your link, you'll see a link to this tweet where he says 'It is against the law' in reply to something saying 'doxxing and threatening federal employees.' Emphasis mine.

We can very clearly see this is more than just naming people.

In fact your article even remarks on it:

Musk has spent the last day or so decrying the naming of the young employees, who do not come from government backgrounds and reportedly range in age between 19 and 25, as illegal and even worthy of prosecution. Allies like fellow tech billionaire Marc Andreessen have also weighed in, with Andreessen taking to X last night to remark that he's "so old" that he recalls "when doxxing and threatening federal employees was considered bad."

"It is against the law," Musk replied.

So, clearly he didn't 'literally' claim it was illegal to post their names

Everything you have shown is in the context of doxxing them while making death threats. You are defending people who were trying to dox these people's children and where they go to school. While making death threats. That is what the crime is.

Again, he has repeatedly along with other mentally ill chuds claimed doxxing them is illegal.

You've yet to actually prove anything and continue to defend people who wanted to shoot children.
