Starship was slowed down by FAA mostly, not SpaceX. They had 8 ready to launch and had to wait years to do 6 of them while v2 was already long into development

Lol, even after all of those years of waiting starship is still blowing up in the sky so yeah I don't think the FAA is to fault on this one, they probably asked him to prove that the launch was r-slurred and going to explode while he wanted to blow shit up and learn from the experience of what caused it to blow up, although more likely, Elon got overconfident his shit doesn't stink, and then when it finally launched, it did indeed stink bigly just as the FAA said it might.

? I dont think anyone who follows space sees whats happened so far as abnormal for developing rockets. This is what testing looks like and why they made 8 of them. Plus they are already catching the boosters in an arm without issue

I'm quite certain that I watched them catch a starship booster on the "chopstick" arms without issue. You're acting like they've never seen successful.

New Glenn launched a single rocket into space but they haven't recovered a booster + only have plans for a future reusable second stage. While SpaceX has already done flip manoeuvres, captured boosters, and Starship survived 2nd stage reentry through atmosphere + a soft landing in the ocean.

Blue Origin are far behind but competition is good
