He walked into the octagon. Solitary confinement had stretched on for so long that he had forgotten why the frick he was even there. Speeding, maybeβfive miles over the limit. But near the gated community.
He scanned his surroundings. The lights. Acrid, searing, harsh against eyes that hadn't seen daylight in weeks. A voice, familiar but grotesquely amplified, rang out.

Dana White stood beside him, smirking, his bald head nodding rhythmically. His massive, HGH-swollen neck pulsed with veins on the verge of bursting. Joe Rogan perched in a high chair next to him, eyes bloodshot red.
"This is gonna be the greatest," the man bellowed, New York accent dripping with performative bravado. "When I wonβ8 years agoβI had told you we'd be winning so much you'd be tired of winning, that you'd beg for it to stop. But I don't think that's true, folks. Do you?"
The proles screamed. Whether from excitement or compulsion, he couldn't tell.
