It means no more games anyone likes. Deeper issue isnt they are making games for normies. Its they kicked out everyone working on games that liked games and hired university ducated rootles cosmopolitan people and put suit wearing buisness people in charge of these companies.
Issue with dragon age theyguard isnt woke stuff. Its anying as frick. But it isnt woke nightmare. Issue is that its bad game. Writing and tone sucks. Only people softer then characters are people who made them.
Same with every other woke flops last year. They just suck. Concord was bad hero shooter game. Unknown 9 looked to be most uninspiring and booring game ever
Star Wars Outlaws looks tired and sloppy. But is aperently okey.
If these games were amazing. And woke stuff was seamless. There wouldnt be that much hay to made.

I just wanted an mmorpg/rpg that you can play for at least 10h+ a week for years. These games existed before, a new asian f2p released every day, and the older games were all very grindy so you could play 50h a week if you wanted lol
Nowdays the only games allowed to be grindy are seasonal games, because shit resets every 3 months like POE.
A long term game like everquest or whatever (i'm not that old so idk much) where you can grind for months before you're max level just doesn't exist these days, either because everyone got old and has no time to play (and zoomers aren't into PC mmos), or because all corpos shifted to appeal to the new casual audience
So i mostly just mod games and try some decent looking game every month or two, but i'm mostly disappointed. Last time i tried WOW, i ran out of things to do in 2 weeks. Sure i no lifed it, but that's dumb, even if i only played 1h a day, i would still run out of things to do. The game was literally just do 3 or so max M+ you can, do max raid you can and wait for next week. You can do all that in a day.
Assuming you want to game a bit on the weekend, even the most casual of the casuals can be done with it.
This was apparently the best time to play wow according to redditors, because it's so casual friendly..
There's a few decent looking indie mmos coming soonTM but it's hard to know with those, they usually suck to play too. Bad animations, clunky graphics, low fps etc
So while i do ocasionally find a cool game to play for a few weeks, i miss having that big main mmo i can't wait to play every day.

Same. Honestly yes i played it a bit and it's very close to a great game but horrible particle effects, tight dungeon corridors etc just make gameplay a laggy zerg
