Probably more just an impromptu picture while they were eating, so it's a half-assed couple pose Ariana wanted to pull at the last second. But, yes, it does look weird in a vacuum.

Nope, there are other photos and videos of her constantly leaning away, pushing his hand back when he tries to hold her waist, turning her head away when he goes in for a kiss, etc.

I don't follow pop culture stuff, so I'll leave it to the experts. But the other comments here are compelling that she has no reason to be with him, and especially for so long, if she's not into him. The thrill of home wrecking is past, she doesn't need his money or clout or anything else, and she could get basically any guy on earth. So, why be with him if it's not genuine?
