Tether as in they're tethered to the old world instead of being focuses on the issues Foundational Black Americans face in America, today.

This could be but not limited to

  • people too focused on African history

  • Pan-Africanism

  • Any black people who immigrated to the USA post-slavery

Tariq is not about solidarity with other causes. Anything that distracts from the FBA's are enemies to the present struggle.
