Tesla's price is way more a function of Elon Musk's popularity and future potential than it is it as a company. I don't get how people don't understand this yet. It's why it dipped on his pay package getting denied and why institutional shareholders voted for the pay package, since if he ragequits it's over. It's similar to how DJT trades as a barometer of Trump's potential.

If Musk dies tomorrow, Tesla trades way more like a normal car company.
