tiktok :marseystanleycup: is really :marseythinkorino2: bad with this, they'll use other people's contacts as a way to automatically attribute your profile information in their global database. if someone has ur number :marseyfourreasons: saved and you add your number :marseyfourreasons: to your account (for tiktok :marseynominers: shop/2fa (before they added otp), for example) they'll automatically associate that profile with all the other info saved related to you.

example:

I make the account tiktokuser59 and add my phone :marseyyayyyytext: number, friend :marseychinchilla3: of mine has my contact saved with both my personal and work phone :marseygossipshock: number, tiktok :marseycocomelon: adds my work number :marseyfourreasons: internally to my account.

sharing tiktok :marseystanleycup: links are also a great :marseythumbsup5: way to leak yourself/other people's info. clicking on someone's tiktok :marseynominers: link has a 1/3 chance to give them a notification :marseypingas: saying "X just viewed the link you shared"
