With the tarrif debacle going on, I have started trying to buy from Canadian owned businesses and Canadian products.
If you are able to, please join me in trying to make a difference in what this could / will look like for the future of Canada. What we buy could make a huge difference in not only Canada but also other countries targeted in the future.
Sobeys, Loblaws, and Save-On-Foods are Canadian owned, as well as:
Other Canadian grocery stores
IGA: A group of independent grocers in Canada. Sobeys franchises the IGA name.
Safeway: A chain that was established in 1929 as a subsidiary of the American Safeway chain. Sobeys purchased Safeway in 2013.
Some Canadian-owned grocery products
Primo tomato sauces, pasta, beans, lentils, rice, and oils
Unico pasta, oil, tomato sauce, beans, peas, jarred marinades, and olives
Aylmer soups and broths
Canton soups and broths
Organika bone broth, collagen, and electrolyte powders
Italpasta pasta made in Canada with Canadian wheat
