My algebra teacher in middle school was a hot Mormon in her 20s who strongly opposed gay marriage. Idr how she went from math to talking about gay marriage but I think she was just a closeted lesbian struggling to accept herself.

My students think it's weird that I don't share my politics with them (no one in a position of authority over children should be pushing their ideology on kids) but they are usually pretty grateful for that.
