/u/Comedybish you're a lazy bastard for doordashing a fricking bagel, and a fricking moron for tipping 8 bucks on top of that. Grow up and learn to manage money and maybe you'll own a house some day

I buy a bunch of 6 packs of πŸ₯― s from the big bakery for $3/ bag and freeze them.

This imbecile could have had 18 for that price!

Yeah, according to comments the store was 9 miles away. Based on the chat timestamps it looks like it took at least 20 minutes just to get from the restaurant to the house, so it probably required like 40 minutes of the driver's time overall. The driver probably should not have picked up the order (I'm not sure if they can see all this detail before accepting) but under the circumstances an $8 tip may have been low since the base rate was probably almost nothing.

%-based tipping in general does not make sense for Doordash. You want to order a $5 item from somewhere that's an hour away, then there should just be a $30 delivery fee or whatever on top of it.

Why would you tip delivery driver parasites at all?

I honestly thought tipping was mostly a 'nice' thing to do if you for example need.. 20 cents back so you just tell them no need to dig your purse i'm fine

But murican wagies chimp the frick out if you don't tip them 300% of a product's value like wtf. Can't wait for amazon drones to replace them

A job that requires sitting :marseyteapot: while listening to some tunes :marseychudjamming: and zero skill that a high school :marseyeric: sophomore could do. How much is this worth fellas?

Just reflects the average Reddit age tbh. A lot of the kids posting here come from privilege and can't imagine any other way.

The poster clearly needs mental guidance. So do most of the people here.
