I take the long view whenever possible and believe that IF we survive the Orange Scourge and President Elmo then we will be a stronger nation on the other side. OP is 16, he/she/they hopefully hava a long life ahead and will find the path to happiness. It's not just the shithole country you live in, it's who you surround yourself with. I've been around the world and there are wonderful people here, there, everywhere. There are also complete and utter buttholes here, there, and everywhere. Bro, the news about how some trans persons FEDERAL DOCUMENTS were torn tf up, by TSA! Prices going up (which I thought trump was supposed to fix. But bear with me I'm not political tbh. And I've heard we were fricked no matter what this term.. but let me just say…I would have NEVER choose an alleged child molester/alleged male feminist no matter how bad the opposing side was. One of the only reasons I still am trying to research places in the US to live is cause I have relatives who live here and don't want to be to far away since when they get older I know I will need to visit more often etc. But seeing how horrible our crapy zoning laws are which has created some of the worst cities, because of building them around personal vehicles instead of bicycles and public transportation has made my research WAY more difficult. Every time I sacrifice some of my free time to research places it puts me off more and more. Granted I don't like where I live now, but trading one bad place for another isn't the goal. And Canada has some of the same problems unfortunately. Europe looks nice in some places but never been there (want to visit in the future). Unfortunately for every US citizen that wants to move to another place you will still have to deal with paying taxes to a country where you don't benefit at all from it. And only way out of that is to give up your cit... (1)
