The actual mean IQ rank-order of these degrees, from highest to lowest:

Are those IQs inferred from standardized exams? Or from actual IQ exams? I wonder if robust measurements by academic levels and disciplines have ever been made.
Do you have a source on that?
Source?
A source. I need a source.
Sorry, I mean I need a source that explicitly states your argument. This is just tangential to the discussion.
Your IQ fluctuates throughout the day and from day to day. Also, familiarity with the test can affect subsequent scores. There's no truly reliable way to quantify intelligence.
(For irrelevance: my IQ tests at 168.)
I no longer believe in IQ now that it does not matter for me.
SAT's probably not a good indicator, it's a test taken before college, what's the spread after college. And you might be able to get something interesting taking the ingest SAT scores, then comparing with the graduating SAT scores. Got me wondering where they publish that data.
Uh. Naw, neighbor.
I trust your understanding of data. Yet every PhD program in Literature seem to be 20% literature and 80% Marx, Freud, Frankfurt, Foucault, Lacan, Derrida, Butler, A. Rich, Kristeva, and a gaggle of other post-structuralists and, Gott helfe uns, 'postmodern thinkers'.
Well, to be fricking fair, you need abstract thinking to understand postmodern thought which is why so many shitlibs fail hard at it.
Also helfe or hilf (the imperative form)?
That's got its own bias. Philosophy and Lit degree holders read a lot so naturally will score high on SAT and GRE (where the math portion is pretty basic, but reading comp questions could get tricky)
lol "not fair they read a bunch"
Are these creatures self aware?

Computer science is definitely going to be the lowest. The CS major is now what law was in the 90's and early 2000's. It's the go-to-degree if you want a white-collar job without having to work to hard. Webshit
jobs don't require any real skills, so people intending that as a career just care about doing as little work as possible and leaving. There are CS major who actually care about what they do (they generally either go into research or fintech), but they're drowned out by the mob of midwits in a competition of averages.

Yeah but philosophy and literature degrees are literally just writing about how you are a queer transracial immigrant mixed race Black Caribbean Latinx

STEMcels - even those with a phd - are literally not smart enough to do well in entry level BA philosophy classes. It's the greatest delusion of modern society that STEMcels are considered intelligent.

Not every engineer

is above lukewarm intelligence
The best modern

philosophy. It was a hobby at best or they didn't even consider
themselves philosophers

Engineers are even dumber than the rest. At least some STEMcels in other fields sometimes realize how stupid they are. Engineers are always convinced they are geniuses.

Engineers are the lowest form of scum. The amount of Catholic engineers I've met who proudly brag about how they make bombs for a living but are fine with it because it pays well makes me want to become a Protestant.

The facst that modern "philosophers" seperate themselves from stemcels is why it's a useless major. Every great philosopher was a greek or roman scientist. Philosophy was created to attempt to explain how the world works and the advancement of science has made the feild obsolete.

there are no great philosophers. philosophy is dead. stop spreading the harmful idea that there is great philosophy.
I'm not saying philosophy majors aren't smarter than stemcels, all philosophy majors are smarter than all stemcels. that doesn't mean philosophy is any more real than "computer science"

I'd almost agree but your net is too broad. A number of PhDs would do poorly, namely the ones who are basically thralls that continue their professor's research with no creative control, but most PhDs, if they actually took the time to learn, would be fully capable. So would a decent portion of normal STEMcels even. The issue with most STEMcels is unbridled arrogance that, despite being one, makes me want to strangle them with my bare hands. They are unwilling to learn philosophy because they think they know the answer already and are unwilling to spend further time reading the refutations to their viewpoint that most likely already exist. Instead they just conflate all of philosophy with ethics (which is a waste of time created by continentals) and laugh smugly about being an ethical nihilist (which everyone should be) while ignoring anything related to philosophy of science (which should instead have a name that includes "empiricism" to avoid confusion).

All of my opinions on philosophy, as someone who has never studied philosophy, are superior to those I would have if I had made it my career. And I achieved this without conscious effort. I'm thus unsurprised to learn about this widespread seething jealousy

I have a philosophy minor (mainly in philosophy of mind) as a CS major. I've met a lot of CS majors who do the whole "I've solved philosophy" shtick and it's super cringe, but don't pretend it's some incredibly hard field to understand.

The book you posted sounds a lot more like queer/black studies than philosophy. That said, I agree that black/queer/female students are waited on hand and foot in philosophy, but don't pretend that isn't the case in CS as well. It's less obvious, sure, but "marginalized" students are regularly given extra resources and opportunities.
