I have guns for fun. I am also not a paki or a BIPOC. Logically I can't be a bong.
There isn't any relationship between gun ownership and crime, there isn't even gun ownership goes up when people feel less safe. The groups on both sides have been trying to find a gotcha that doesn't exist for a long time.
People who don't have guns for fun/sport but instead for self-defense are r-slurred as you are more likely to shoot yourself accidentally with a gun then an intruder, they don't practice with them enough and handle them like total r-slurs. If your gun comes out once a year to show people you are too r-slurred to own it.

I dunno, I just wanted to rip on California, New York, and Illinois.
But that map shows the states with the highest gun ownership being WY and MT and I think there are like 20 people total that live there so if one person gets shot that probably does account for a high percentage of their total deaths.
