I just don't understand what people thinking will change if they transition. Surely trans people are aware that they aren't physiologically the other gender even after transitioning surgically. Do they think that suddenly everyone they interact with will treat them better if they present themselves as another gender?

I also knew a ftm like before and post too and I sort of watched the whole process. Basically a 5/10 on a good day, some sort of family trauma when she was a kid/teen, weird obsession with WWE wrestling, loves gay porn and doing gay erp. They love being a dude and doing gay dude things (because they suck at femininity) that they think they can become a dude. And in some ways being a foid combined with SSRI's drives them to do this. All the rational thinking parts of their brain are completely gone.

Glad you think you're not a guy. That means you don't had distress over "s*x mismatch"
You most likely suffer some other form of anxiety and other underlying in address trauma that got over diagnosed as gender dysphoria because GD is not real because the concept of gender has never been proven.
