I'm sad that h/gaybros is gone, so let's check in on our friends at askgaybros reacting to an article about 10% of Americans being LGBT+

https://old.reddit.com/r/askgaybros/comments/1iuazjp/almost_10_of_americans_identify_as_lgbtq_plus/

I'm younger and speaking on my own personal experiences but the amount of people who said they were "bi" but weren't attracted to the same s*x or didn't want to do anything with the same s*x is crazy. But in my experience that was mostly women, but not men for some reason.

Gee, I wonder why women do this. Luckily one commenter has the answer:

I'm sorry, what? What? How are they saying they're bi if they're not attracted to the same s*x?

It's just typical female attention seeking behaviors. This has been a thing for a long time now, it's why some people believe being LGBT is just a phase because in their experience with women, it is actually a phase. Being bi makes them feel more special and gives them more attention, it gives them a way to insert themselves into LGBT groups, and claim oppression.

Gays are tired of women lying for clout:

Any straight person seeking clout can identify as bi while dating exclusively the opposite s*x, and no one can prove otherwise.

I find that it tends to be the female type of straight person, more specifically.

One commenter sums it up the best:

Keep adding letters until it's 50%.

Askgaybros continues to be the only subreddit that can say this stuff.

LUGs (lesbians until graduation) are still very much a thing but now :marseywrongthonk:. Pointing out something is just a phase is now evil bigotry, not basic pattern recognition.
