Hardware unboxed put it quite nicely. Ignoring all the bells and whistles and assuming an AMD card vs an identical Nvidia card, you'd probably need a 15% discount before people jumped ship on their brand. Brand loyalty is dangerous and difficult to deal with, it took 2-3 generations of Ryzen before Intel started to really take huge hits. (10)
Here is the thing brand loyalty is not a thing it's just handful of attention seekers talking here nonsense and even most of those who talk buys the other brand in reality.Δ±m one of the guys who switched to AMD with 5900x and you know why i did it ? Δ°t was the first time in a long time and had the better product for the price.Remember the amd who underpriced their CPUs before 5000 series where are they now ? Doesn't matter if the 9000 series comes a little under performance wise the fact remains the price for the 5070TI is fking disgusting and the price for performance is a joke , you will never see that card for MSRP 99% of those cards are base price or near 1k which you are an idiot if you buy a mid range card at 1k.Problem is AMD has had plenty of time to capitalize on this and fails everytime with scalpers and poor stock literally destroying any opportunity to capitalize on Intel or nvidias faults and I see nothing changing here , I already assume 9000 series is a paper launch .  I hope I'm wrong but past launches don't give me much hope sadly (6)
