Honestly it is amazing to me that hooters was ever successful. Were strip clubs really that unwilling to serve wings? :marseyhmmm:

This entire category of restaurants is dying. Not just boob restaurants like Hooters and Tilted Kilt, but everything else in the Sysco slop category is on its way out too. TGIF, Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, it's all on a huge decline. You've got several factors causing this I'm sure, but off the top of my head, people not going into the office anymore (and therefore not looking for a cheap place to eat lunch out), rising food costs, and rising minimum wages are killing all of these places. If your shitty frozen appetizers at TGIFs aren't dirt cheap anymore, no one is going to eat them. You can't convince people to pay $25 or $30 for gross slop like you could when it was more like $10.

How many people would go to the strip club for lunch? The hooters demographic was like 16-25 yr olds who weren't degenerate enough to buy whores, but could be enticed by an accessible way to talk to a vaguely attractive woman.

Nowadays that demographic is terrified of women and just jack off to porn.
