A 15 year old farmgirl was always considered inadequate as a teacher.
The ideal old timey school marm was about 25, college educated*, an impeccable example of morals and manners, and importantly, unmarried.
*college education being drilled in reading, writing, history, and arithmetic, and getting up at 6am every morning with polished heels and neat hair for 6:30 chapel service. You also had to swim laps, scrub floors, and would be kicked out for swearing.
Have you heard the filth that comes out of a modern education major's mouth when they giggle with their friends? They wouldn't last a day. Also, upon (the regular) inspection they would find bad novels in their dormatory (Worse than even Trilby!) and cast these harlots out of the college with no appeal.

also Florida pays there teachers better than the natnl average. Whats dumb is that she decided to do that when she could havr hot the same position with an associates degree. This post is like someone asking why they only make $40,000 a year working as shift manager at best buy despite having a PhD. The PhD has nothing to do with the job and so has no effec ton the salary. Neither him nor hos wife learned common sense in school or in life generally
