Because it's cheaper. But then Pizza there's a paradox for you: the US economy was doing pretty well supplying the housing market until relatively recently. Do you think that the problem was that the US started importing cheaper limestone, which made building housing cost more and yall switched to the sucking each others' peepees based economy instead?
