Just a ramble. I love Apple so freaking much. (self.apple)

https://old.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/oe0ol6/just_a_ramble_i_love_apple_so_freaking_much?sort=controversial

I don't have anyone in my life right now I can geek out to and it's kinda making me sad.

The M1 just continues to blow my mind! Just earlier today I had something like 20 tabs open I was needing to bounce back and forth

I'm not a g*mer, but that hasn't stopped me from purchasing some games

the op is still posting regularly, lately in r/oculus and r/lego

Thank God. Imagine being the poor bastard on the receiving end of this.

It's interesting what some :marseyautism: bodies get into. I've been watching some bushcraft videos lately and the youtube algorithm started suggesting videos of this guy with obvious autism who goes around unclogging storm drains and culverts and critiquing them. He even goes crawling into these pipes, he's so into it. He also has obligatory train watching videos. Toot-toot trains, not screeching trains :marseywitch2:

Why does geek always mean soy consooomer, why can't they ever "geek out" about dieting or something

I recall back when low-carb/paleo shit was the newest fad these types took that to rather predictable conclusion. I'm talking like wolfing down triple baconators and calling that a "diet" cause they removed the bun

I'm pretty sure IQ tests break down below like 60, let alone tests from 1939. R-sluration is shockingly hard to quantify.

Which is to say I'm shocked that man qualified as a living being

On January 5, 1939 Best asked Joe what he would like for his last meal, to which he replied, β€œIce Cream”. That same evening Best brought Joe a box of cigars and a mountain of homemade candy, he ate so much that his stomach became upset and he gave the rest of it away to other inmates. The next day was his last and he started it with a short visit from his mother and other family members, his father had died 11 months earlier. When visiting with his mother, she collapsed in tears but Joe didn’t understand and returned to his cell. He spent the rest of the day smoking cigars, eating ice cream and playing with his beloved train. As he was walked to the gas chamber Joe stopped and gave his train to one of the other inmates. As he did this he talked about how he would soon be raising chickens and playing the harp, β€œlike the padre told me.”

(Joe giving away his toy train.)

Before taken away to the chamber, Joe reportedly had not finished his ice cream and requested for the remaining ice cream to be refrigerated so he could eat it later, not understanding that he was to be executed soon and would not return. He was reported to have smiled while being taken to the gas chamber. Momentarily nervous, he calmed down when the warden grabbed his hand and reassured him.

When I'm looking through a 20 page journal article in 10pt font or a spreadsheet thats hundreds by hundreds of cells, it's easier to have the page already scrolled to where you need when you come back. Also I can keep things in better order so I have a window for a certain topic and then I can order the tabs in the order I'll go through them.

If you want you could go back to when Apple was going to run CSAM checks on every photo uploaded to iCloud, something every major cloud service already does. Redditors were really, really upset with that.

Dear god, this guy also used to regularly post his yo-yo collections and unironically on r/tacobell

https://old.reddit.com/r/Throwers/comments/biuowg/youll_be_green_with_envy/?sort=controversial

https://old.reddit.com/r/tacobell/comments/8t52m1/legal_to_take_advantage_of_price_mistakes/?sort=controversial

So is it legal...or will I go to heck...for taking advantage of obvious price mistakes?

I was just playing around on Bell's website like I often do...dreaming up my next order...and I noticed all the combos are super cheap (it's happened for a lot of people on this reddit...this is the first time at my nearest Bell).

$4 for the chalupa craving deal, just $3 for the steak nacho box, and...all the deals (A-D) are just $1.20 (That's a 5 layer burrito, bag of nacho chips, and a soda!!!).

I was curious if I could actually get all the way through checkout with these prices, so I loaded my cart up with a few of these combos and went all the way through check out. Then canceled my order.

And it did go through at these insanely cheep prices.

So now I wonder...Can I get in trouble for something like this? It feels wrong to take advantage of what's clearly a mistake on their part.

What do you guys think? And sorry for the long post! >.<'
