A Great Moment in r/Drama History

https://www.vice.com/en/article/qvegg5/reddit-suicide-video

Back when the jannies were r-slurred/based (it's a fine line).

They left up a video of (if I remember correctly) that r9k kid blasting himself in the face with a shotgun after which his mother walks in on his unrecognizable corpse.

Journoids were pissed.

IIRC the jannies didn't pin the whole thing, just the moment of truth. I found the entire stream recording somewhere a while later. Watching him paint the room with his brains didn't phase me much, but listening to his mom's screams fricked with me a bit. The first responders casually talking amongst themselves as they secured the scene provided a fascinating tonal dichotomy to the whole thing; it was surely the worst day of at least one person's life, but just another day at work for them.

That makes more sense, the whole thing was probably too long for the average dramanauts attention span.

tfw you take an extra dose of prescription meth to focus on watching a child kill himself

The paramedic walked in and first thing he did was admire the shotgun lmao. Apparently it costs like 10k or something

The Kel-tec KSG? Nah you can pick one up for like 900 bucks. I remember the paramedic commenting on the shotgun though.

Oh, I never saw the full thing, just the shot. Anyone knows if there's a live link with the full thing?
