Ruins the whole idea of rolling randomly or being pleasantly surprised when some marsey response gets elevated. Imo it should usually be a bonus on top of your response that slighty drives using applicable marseys, not the goal

It will drive spergs to constantly edit posts for a different shade emoji. This is a good thing as it wastes the time of dumb people.

Also, they can just delete and recomment with the current system so it's not hugely different.

also, what about not rolling for golden marseys if you spam marseys in a single comment? so if you post more than x marseys in a single comment/post they can't roll gold. this would prevent some spamming and also keep them rare, because as it is, if you just spam a bunch of different marseys in one comment you can get several golden ones. also increasing the rarity even further may keep them even more special

Really I think it would be best for the post itself to either roll golden or not like how dubs work, using more marseys increasing your gold rate is kind of lame.
