Summary: Basically some LGBT wiki(s) with >3000 terms are getting merged into a wiki that will only include official terms (aka less than 3000 terms). There will be another wiki to host the ones that are left out.

Idk all the wikis that are being shut down, but this "LGBTA" wiki is one of them, and this "LGBT" one is another. They'll be redirected to https://lgbtqia.fandom.com/.

only official terms that are recognized by people working on LGBTQIA+ issues will be approved.

One controversial aspect of the merge is that the new wiki won't include every single "xenogender" or "microlabel" from the old wikis. These terms can be listed on https://ezgender.fandom.com/, but the wikis will have to move their content themelves.

Okay, this is a seriously bad idea. This is a safe space for so many people. Do you not care about the affect this is having on people? So many people are literally having panic attacks right now and freaking out. So many systems have had Headmates leave/go dormant, including us, because of the amount of stress, anxiety, etc., that this is causing. So many people are hurting due to this. You are just destroying every thing we worked so hard on. There are HUNDREDS of people against this and talking about how much of a horrible idea this is, and you're choosing not to listen. I, myself, am trembling and crying, and I never do that. This is very fricking traumatic for a HUGE number of users here. There is so so much I would love to say, but i must go comfort my littles.

God this reeks of truscum and truNB bs. That xenogenders are all relegated to a “niche” wiki, and separated entirely from main LGBTQIA+…. As if we aren’t queer enough to be included. What, next they’re going to say dysphoria is a term only to be used by those who are “officially” diagnosed with trans? Disgusting. I’m going to screenshot and save all my term pages.
