I have worked here for 2.5 years at $11.25 an hour. I have not received a raise since I was hired. It's actually against their policy to give raises unless you get promoted, but they won't promote me because they know I have been going to college (just graduated 😁 ) and I will be leaving at the first opportunity. I only stayed with this job for so long because they let me study while I work the cash register. This sub has taught me that if you don't get a raise every year that atleast matches inflation, you are actually taking a pay cut, so I'm going to hit this company where it hurts. Every customer gets atleast a dollar off. I now charge for the small size no matter what size fountain drink or coffee they get. You say you got 2 taquitos? It looks like 1 to me. All Nestle products are now free because frick Nestle, and I'll make sure to mark them off as stolen goods so Nestle takes 50% losses on those items (vendors like nestle split the losses with the gas station for stolen/damaged goods). If my employers don't want to invest in me, they will feel far greater losses. I will continue to do this until I find a new job in my chosen profession.
