My colleagues, superiors, and I flat out refuse to hire 2020/21 grads in our engineering field…there are certain things that require interpersonal skills and zoom can’t suffice

well yeah, a lot of undergrad classes decided to just let people P/F whatever the frick they wanted or were otherwise more lenient

of course grades went up. but that shit isn't sticking around if virtual becomes the standard. profs just felt bad for their students during, you know, a pandemic
