Imagine this: you're a struggling conservative Christian game developer. People judge you for your beliefs, and call your work awkward and creepy. Project after project fails. You're bleeding money. Maybe it's time to quit. Is this really all there is?

But then, something happens. You lean into the creepiness and make a wildly successful horror game. You put out a few sequels, and people eat them up. Just like that, you're rich beyond your wildest dreams! Still, you worry that it's all too good to be true. That something's gonna come back to bite you.

And it does happen. Your political donation history gets out. But something else has happened too. You built up good will, and so much money, that you realize it doesn't matter what anyone thinks! No one can hurt you. You're set for life and happily married. It doesn't matter that you're a right-wing Christian who donates to Trump. You post about how Trump was the best candidate instead of apologizing, and passive aggressively tell people they can take it how they want. It all blows over! Not only that, more conservative Christians in media are inspired to stand up for their beliefs, while people on Twitter rage impotently. You're so blessed and happy that you can't really hate them, or even laugh at them. You just hope they come to know Jesus one day.

You spend the rest of your life in comfort with your beautiful wife and kids, occasionally churning out a subpar game when you need a bigger house or something. Many years later, you die happy in your bed at home, surrounded by a dozen loved ones.

Then you go to heck because you turned millions of kids into furries.
