I'm glad my timeline is just as angry as I am about the Justice League disrespect and the continued Cyborg and Ray Fisher erasure because I am seething at this point. I hope WB crashes and burns in every way possible. This is the biggest downgrade I've ever seen. #BoycottWB pic.twitter.com/7WKiZeQODE

Peacemaker is a one season tv series on HBOmax (renewed for a second season based on the popularity of the first) that's a pretty fun spin-off of the whole superhero genre.
It's dirty, often vulgar, lots of cursing and sexual innuendo, some gore. It would be r or ma rated if it was a movie. It's more of a comedy than a superhero series, and it's not child friendly, but it's pretty good, and a pleasant twist on the whole genre.
In the final episode of the first season, the "Justice League" (Superman, Aquaman, Wonderwoman and the Flash are summoned at the end to help with the final fight but they don't get there in time after the Peacemaker and his rag-tag group have already handled the situation and
"You're late, you fricking peepeeheads!" John Cena's Peacemaker yelled at four members of the Justice LeagueβSuperman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Aquamanβbefore singling out Aquaman. "Go frick another fish, butthole!"
Jason Mamoa made a cameo for just this last part of the episode.
If you find yourself bored and looking for something funny and irreverent to watch, it's actually a good show. You can stream it here:

^This website is safe, although I recommend adblockers. You can also find practically any movie or tv series you'll ever want to watch on it. And it's safe.
Side note to add: In this series, the Peacemaker has a tagline, that he will make peace, and he will kill anybody to achieve that end. And he has a pet eagle, whose name is Eagly.

Me and @The_Homocracy have been dming about this for like 3 weeks now. I despise James Gunn but I can't deny the guy does good basic lowbrow comedy with some actual emotional moments. It goes back to when he was a troma guy and the gross out lowbrow humor was even worse. The whole thing with him being an irredeemable shitbag in the suicide squad is pretty much the main theme. He knows he is and he hates himself over it. Also fun fact the actress who plays Harcourt is James Gunns co-molester and you can tell what episodes he's directed because there's these long lingering shots of her and they're use really nice filters and angles.

When I was a kid, I never read any comic books and wasn't "in" on any of the lore of any of the superhero shit. But, I have to admit to that I have enjoyed some of the modern MCU stuff. Of all of the MCU stuff, Logan is the best one in my opinion and that is probably relevant to why I prefer Peacemaker and Logan to all the other types of the genre.

Oh I read the shit out of comics in the 80s. This show is a big time reference to how batshit the stories were in DC back then. Kinda surprised you watched it I know I was going to suggest it to ya. Watch black mass and arcane (yeah it's a cartoon I know) on Netflix next. Also if you've never watched the venture bros this is pretty similar to that. It's wacky funny shit with lore but it's main theme is regret. Venture bros is literally my favorite show of all time.
