The shift from 2015 to 2016 is impressive. Too bad it does not show absolute values. It could be 5 bucks to the democrats in one year and 30 billion to the republicans or vice versa, and it would still be 100% from one side to 100% to the other.

Well said. Luckily, the original source gives what you ask for. I quote:
