Subaru adjusted their marketing strategies slightly when they learned they had an outsized share of the lesbian market so they could play into that. If other stores found out they had a larger gay patronage than they thought they could likewise use that information to their advantage in their marketing tactics.

They also used to show such detailed location data to users that you could use it to triangulate which specific dude you were talking to by walking past houses until it said they were a few meters away lol, but they stopped doing that too and now if you get really close it just shows a made up number.

That seems excessive, lol. What a terrible idea

To add on to this, people who use grindr are insane unless they're deeply closeted or desperate. It shows your location within metres, I know people who have been legitmately stalked using this app.

I think they have cruising apps where you can send out a ping so others can find your location too.
