He's an anti-war fat man whose story's ending is almost certainly going to conclude the necessity of war at least sometimes. He has no way to square that circle and, more importantly, square it in a way that makes sense, is interesting, and doesn't just go for the obvious subverting expectations shock value. I thank God every day he didn't make me ASOIAFtard.
