Sure, I could make some money by investing, but I genuinely do not want to support these soul sucking companies/corporations
No it's because you're terrified of anything involving a little bit of risk which is why you're an /r/antiwork loser instead of someone more successful.

Nah, they're just on the anti-prosperity gospel. They're opposite of Calvinists: Calvinists think wealth is a sign of virtue because God rewards virtue with wealth, these commies think being rich is a sign of vice because money is evil, ipso facto being poor is being virtuous. Basically, they're ascetics without the conviction.
Even easier: buy an index fund. Done. No options, you don't need to worry about basically anything, plus Fidelity has index funds that have literally 0% fees. No minimums, you can start with $20, no fees ever of any kind, but these cute twinks won't do it because they're r-slurred.
The stock market is literally socialist. It allows you to own the means of production that these people do not shut up about. Sounds to me like someone does not want solutions and just wants to be mad.

Their goal has never been to actually own the means of production, they just want others richer than themselves to not be able to own it. Or to exist. Mainly because the success of others makes them feel inferior.
The stock/share/crypto market is essentially run and manipulated by millionaires/billionaires/corporations and loaded with insider trading to extract as much money from the little guys.

problem with the stock market are the billionaires who use it like a casino - gambling hundreds of millions of dollars like regular people do dollar-scratchers from the corner store.
The few thousand dollars the average person puts into the market are mere pennies
R-slur take the entire stock market lives and dies on 401k. Whats more influential a billionaire with a billion or 150 million with 5% invested every friday like clockwork
Yeah uhm usually its the government doing that shit. Musk buying twitter isnt going to be a big deal unless the government was using it as a propaganda board and tries to freeze it.

People don't really make any money on the stock market they just keep up with inflation... market inflates away and is just the modern version of a savings account.. plus it crashes every 10 years or so. Crashed in 81, 87, 01, 08, and 20. I think it is ridiculous that the average person needs to theoretically own companies in order to break even in the long run.
Man, I canβt think of a single downside to our economy incentivizing you to hoard money like a and never spend it or do anything with it. Surely that wouldnβt affect the growth rate of the economy would it?
People make money on the stock market in even the most conservative investment strategies, returns are averaged at like 6% right? And up until this year inflation's been like 2% a year?
I recently started a relationship with someone and all has been wonderful, I have no other concerns/negatives about her. She has however confessed to me that sheβs sexually attracted to dogs.
Oh I'm not in the US, but it is mandatory here to pay 10.5% into a Superannuation (personal retirement fund) and I have that going into an ethical fund

I'd say the stock market more or less expands the bourgeoisie to include more people. It's certainly no Marxist institution
