This is my theory. The more time goes on we'll find that strict allo cishets are a minority. Queer people are the majority but we've been forced to reduce ourselves to very narrow acceptable social relations. Do not forget that before European colonisation, humans were far more diverse in terms of sexuality and gender. This binary and heteronormativity is artificial and we've only been forced to hold to it collectively for a relatively brief period of time. Queer literature and Queer academia is rapidly growing and encouaging people to reject cishetnormativity and allonormativity. Soon we'll all be free to determine our own genders and have full autonomy over our relationships
Frick me. When you widen the definitions of "queer" and make "gender" into a thousand subcategories, of course your definition is going to start reducing the number of straight people. Coupled with the increasing numbers of attention-seeking non-binaries in straight relationships and foids claiming to be pansexual but married to a man, yes I can see this coming true. But not because everyone's gay, because everyone's r-slurred.

The increase in "queer" people is largely driven by people who recently started identifying as "queer" in spite of never having any sexual interactions with people of the same s*x.

Most haven't even had s*x, they're 12-20 year olds kid who get off to drawings of their favorite childhood cartoon having an elaborately drawn peepee on them. They've never touched another human intimately
