There's a huge difference between monkey coder and an engineer.

I don't think they're trying to be, but code monkey is such a shitty term. western people are never referred to as monkeys outside of programming contexts, and monkey is otherwise often used in racist contexts......


All I ask is that people maybe think twice before calling brown people monkeys whether intended to be racial or not. Its just a real bad look.
