It's the same insufferable effect every community set up to oppose some subset of obnoxious people goes through. They get filled with people who wrap their identity up around a negative and cherry pick the most insane examples to validate their artificial identity. Its5the same dynamic that gave us Tumblrinaction. Even if they have a point they're going to be blind to any nuance because it doesn't validate their identity and thus won't make it far in the sub.
