This can't be. Just 3 days ago a russian jannie claimed giving ukraine guided missiles with a 500 mile range would do nothing

That's not deep. It's like 50km behind the front line. And they've been using their own Tochka-U for these kinds of strikes since the beginning. I really don't understand what this is supposed to prove, lol. I can show you literally dozens of equivalent strikes on the other side of the front, actually deep inside. But that doesn't matter, I bet, huh? This one hit is the true game changer :marseyxd:

You're such a fricking cope machine, pizza. Everything you say is so incredibly dumb.

Uhm actually it isn’t a big deal because this attack was only far distance from front line and there’s zero way the Ukrainians will launch to its full range, and the Russian conscripts will actually sleep better now knowing they’re within range of Ukrainian attacks. Do better American pig dog 😘

I'm p sure both sides know they might get obliterated in any moment. Well that's been war since ww1. But everyone knows the odds are fairly low so they don't give as much of a shit.

I wonder if the fear of being within range of enemy artillery vs enemy missles would be any different?

Personally I think the fear of missiles would be less "sharp" somehow, but idk :marseyshrug:

When you spend months at a time in the trenches I don't think you stay on edge throughout it all. I remember reading one account by a German where they'd get shot at every time they went to the latrine, a bit of the path there was exposed to the enemy. So that just becomes a fact of life. And then one day one bullet finds its mark. You probably regret eating whatever you were about to shit out as you lie there bleeding out. But its not like you could've known. Not like you could've done anything else.

I like the Tochka-U strikes. It makes me feel happy to see all the Cold War weapons of death finally getting make their conventional combat debut. It's like an old dog getting to play fetch in the field one last time
