It's honestly hilarious, becoming a commercial pilot is notoriously expensive, time consuming, and the pay and work conditions are shit starting out (assuming you're even able to get hired anywhere). Airlines are so desperate for diversity though that foids and black people (or the very rare black foid) can sail through and get hired at a major no problem.

Still need that min number of hours PIC to get that big ATPL you need to fly real planes in the US, which means either you go airforce or spend years in some cessna rattlettap hauling parcels from hicksburg to hicksville for $20/hr, or being an instructor and having students try to kill you repeatedly for $8/hr

The consensus over on PPRUNE (the big pilot forum) was that instructors are pretty much doing it for free to build their hours, so yeah, $8.25/hr or whatever US minwage is. Was looking into getting my ATPL a while ago but never followed up on it...

Diversity tards are basically incapable of understanding that a field populated by one demographic does not inherently discriminate against another.
So whenever they see something like this their brains naturally decide any disparity in outcome must be from discrimination, as all demographics are exactly the same there exists no reason other than discrimination for a field being all white guys.

The airline industry is basically immune to diversity bullshit too as pilots have to meet a certain standard no matter what. Even one crash is a huge disaster and will ruin an airline.
