The problem of evil - Why does an all powerful, all good God allow evil to persist?

We've discussed the problem of evil for millennia, but its longevity shows it can't be easily dismissed, either. There are many approaches, but ultimately all depend on things we can't truly know.

My perspective is that existence, life, consciousness, creation, experience, etc. are in themselves good, and the fact that we belong to a universe of these things is sufficient to worship God as the ultimate good. But God is still sovereign over bad things that may happen, and they don't all need to have a clear greater purpose. It's okay to be angry at God, so long as we ultimately submit to him.

How do you folx respond to this issue?

God is omniscient and omnipotent.

In the moment he created you and chose your starting conditions, he knew how your life would turn out and all the decisions you would make, and if you would go to heaven or heck.

And he still chose to create you and place you the way he did.

God created you to darn you. He doesn't fricking like you.

You just keep saying that because he keeps trying to strike you with lightning and that your mom keeps calling you ugly.
