r/drama is basically the only way that people passively find this site.

When it’s gone, I suggest two things:

1. There will need to be an easy lolcow invitation system. Maybe a link that we can send them that has a temporary account already set and ready to comment that we can send to people? (If this became a feature, the temp account should be upgradable to a regular account. Material that could scare the cow should be hidden from their view. The link should be able to act like a referral so that users here can show off their lolcow attracting skills and brag about their numbers.)

2. There should be a mild active advertising campaign because we all know the life cycle of most reddit spin-offs. It starts out active with people moving there from the place that they got banned from, then people slowly forget about the site and there usually aren’t new users to take their place, then eventually the site is just one or two people posting once a week if it isn’t a complete ghost town. (See what happened to the cringeanarchy offsite locations. They’re mostly dead.)

2.1) With the advertising there should be some screening and a culture-preservation-initiative. Which I think the current jannies have done a really good job at cucking the agendaposters. (Thank you @carpathianflorist et al.)

Drama has lived rent free in the minds of admins and SRS peepeelets for years now, mission fricking accomplished. As I said before I fricked off for a few years, let it go down in a blaze of glory like it was intended to. As for this place, those seeking drama will find it.

Why are some people obsessed with getting more people here?

Have you seen the state of this place? If the number of people here doubled the site would be inoperable. You wouldn't even need a DOS attack.
