Georgia’s newest gun law was apparently so r-slurredly written that events with short-term leases on public land aren’t allowed to ban guns at their events.
One guy in particular (the absolute Chad /u/Phil_E_54-99) has been trying to sue people over it, and his efforts have finally paid off, because now Music Midtown, one of the bigger festivals in Georgia, has announced their cancellation over the issue, potentially putting countless more concerts, festivals, and sporting events in jeopardy.
Seethe in /r/musicmidtown and /r/indieheads is off the charts. To be fair, I’m seething, too, because it puts my yearly festival in jeopardy, but I’m trying to turn my cope into dramacoin, so whatever.
